My story is different, In fact, when I started my ad campaign, the keyword quality was “Great” and remained with score 7 after one day. I did not bother about the campaign for few days.

But after few days, all of a sudden I received a warning message about Poor Landing Page Quality in my ad campaign.

One observation was that my landing pages were found to be badly affected by some iFrame virus which truncated my web pages and only some partial contents were shown on the page.

As soon as I received the warning message, I replied to the customer support and wrote my apology for not observing the quality of the landing pages.

Then,I deleted all my campaigns and also ensured that none of the campaigns were not even in “pause” mode. I did not submit any new campaign and I was rebuilding the web pages.

But, after nearly one month, I received a mail that my adwords account is banned permanently and I will not be allowed to open a new account in future also. The mail also mentioned that though the ad campaigns were found to be deleted even accounts with bad history of poor landing page are bound to be banned for life.

Now, I am looking for other alternatives to adwords. The ban came while I was in the learning process and I really do not know the exact reason for the ban, so that I can advise my friends to be careful about such things. My only tip is have a daily review of the landing page and quality scores if anyone wants to avoid adwords ban.

I ran several Adword accounts for different business’s but some time last year I stopped advertising short term as marketing money was unavailable. It turns out I owed on one account but because they can somehow tie one to another account Google banned the other account that didn’t owe on.

My question is does anybody know how to get around to creating another web and advertising it on Adwords (eg. new bank account, alias …) ?

Have you had any joy yet?

I have just found out about my ban! I advertised last August 2009 for just 2 weeks as a test. They rated and approved the ads. All my new customers received their downloadable free products. Everything above board.
Two days ago, I do my big launch after twelve months development and BAM – my account is Banned for life!
Hardly fair I say.
I got the same arrogant non-specific response as you from
the faceless Google ‘Adwords Team’.
I have written to them this evenning, although I expect a poor response.

Have you had any more news yet?

Sad to hear. I used Adwords for keyword research as well, but never actually submitted it for review with a landing page. Hopefully google will speak up and attempt to correct the problem.

I just want to clarify that this ban is on a personal account, and the experiences herein are mine personally and are in no way related to my employer, or my work for my employer. Just in case any confusion arises.
