Mike Scott is dude that on another site reviewed a book as having sloppy scholorship ...... then admits to not having read it in fact that he was still waiting for his copy to show up.

Actually, Michael.. I haven't "ripped off" slang from any sources.

The internet slang translator is 100% comprised of terms that users submitted on their own. I built the thing by asking my boss's kids to make me a list of all the internet slang and acronyms they used. When it started it had just about 200 terms. Since then, readers have submitted their own terms to me.

It's kinda funny but I've had a few sites shut down for copying me! If you don't believe me, do a little google search for a term I made up (mgiwjsdchmw) and see how many other sites list it in their dictionaries.

As for the drug database, I built it form a copyright free government list. You're probably not aware of this, but everything the government posts public doesn't have a copyright. It's not legally allowed to. The rest of the terms were added by me and a select few people who got to see the site before it went live.

I don't know where you get your information from, but maybe you should do a little bit of fact checking before you come on here and accuse me of things that don't make sense. By the way, how do you "rip off" a meaning or a word anyway?

Also, don't you find your comment a bit ironic considering your blog (which you spelled incorrectly in the URL you added) consists of nothing but embedded youtube videos?

Ugh. So you rip off slang words and their meanings from other sources, don't credit them, blandify everything, and then regurgitate it in a way that only a silly ass would find interesting? What a business model. Barf.
